The Memphis Grizzlies pay a visit to the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on Wednesday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after routing the Lakers in a 121-109 win last night. Ja Morant led the team with a triple-double of 39 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists, Xavier Tillman added 18 points while Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and six of 31 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep up with the Lakers early on and scored just 20 points in the second quarter to fall behind going into halftime, but they flipped the script and explode for 47 points in the third quarter to pull away thanks to a 28-point barrage from Morant.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been ice-cold lately as they are now hoping to put an end to a 10-game losing streak after getting blown out by the Nuggets in a 133-112 loss last night. Jalen Green and Tari Eason led the team in scoring with 17 points each, Kenyon Martin Jr added 15 points while Daishen Nix chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Rockets shot 49 percent from the field and nine of 31 from the 3-point line, but the writing was on the wall early in this one as they were always fighting a losing battle after falling behind by 74-54 going into halftime.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall. The Rockets are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games against a team with a winning record, 0-6 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest and 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games overall.

The Grizzlies are still missing Steven Adams, while the Rockets are keeping eyes on Kevin Porter Jr and Jae’Sean Tate. The Grizzlies are starting to heat up again and they would’ve taken plenty of confidence from their win over the Lakers last night, especially Morant who was on fire the entire game. The Rockets have continued their struggles and they just got blown out by the Nuggets in another bad loss last night. The Grizzlies aren’t the best road team, but they are playing well enough to make light work of this Rockets outfit.
