The Detroit Pistons will be hoping to snap a four-game skid tonight when they welcome the Orlando Magic to town.
The Pistons have lost five of their last six and are coming off a 116-106 loss at Dallas despite having three different players finish with 20 points or more. Brandon Jennings continued his hot shooting streak with 26 points, Josh Smith had 25 and Greg Monroe added 20 but those figures don't matter at all when your allowing the other team to shoot over 58 percent from the field. The Pistons are ranked 26th in the league in points allowed so obviously they'll need to improve there, but they're also going to need more consistent play from Andre Drummond who had just four points against the Mavericks after pouring in 21 points and 20 rebounds on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Magic have lost 13 of their last 15 and are coming off a 100-92 loss to the Pelicans despite 25 points from Arron Afflalo and 18 points from Victory Oladipo. The problem was in the paint where the Magic continued to play with a small lineup because of the absence of Nikola Vucevic and it didn't work at all. Orlando just didn't have the size to deal with Anthony Davis who basically had his way on both ends of the court, finishing with 22 points, 19 rebounds and seven blocks which spells trouble for tonight's meeting against the talented frontcourt of the Pistons.
In ATS trends, the Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 0-8 ATS in their last eight road games, while the Pistons are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games.
The Magic really had no way of stopping the size and athleticism of the Pelicans' Davis so unless they find a way to turn this game into a track meet, this game should be a big night for the Pistons' bigs. I'm taking the home team to win and cover tonight.
