The Line: Brooklyn Nets -11 -- Over/Under: 208 See the Latest Odds
The Philadelphia 76ers head to Brooklyn on Monday to face off against the Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets are currently 20-25 this season, and despite dropping their two last outings, the Nets are playing their best ball of the season. Losing two in a row is never a good thing, but considering the Nets fell to the Thunder and the Pacers, there isn’t much to complain about there. The Nets are currently in second place in their division, despite their losing record on the year. Only trailing the Raptors by four games at this point.

The Philadelphia 76ers have had a rough year this season. The Sixers are just 15-33 on the season, and in their last outing the Sixers got blasted by the Pistons in Detroit, falling to the Pistons 113-96 on Saturday. The Sixers have one of the worst defensive units in the league this season, and that reared its ugly head again here on Saturday against the Pistons. Philly has now dropped three out of their last four games heading into this meeting with the Nets on Monday night.
The Sixers are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall. The Sixers have played better on the road, lately, going 7-3 against the spread in their last ten road games.
The Nets are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games against teams with a losing record, and the Nets are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games when playing on one day of rest.
I get that Philly is bad and the Nets are playing their best ball of the year right now, but this is just way too many points to be giving up. I don't love it, but I'll take the Sixers on the road here on Monday night.
