The Line: Denver Nuggets -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Los Angeles Clippers will go back on the road to play the Denver Nuggets for the second time this season. They won the previous meeting back in December 112-91.
The Nuggets have been in a slump recently, losing five of their last seven games. With a combination of injuries and a struggling defense that allows 103 points per game, Denver has really put itself in a hole as far as playoff contention is concerned. The Nuggets have allowed more than 100 points in eight of their last nine games. They’ve also missed point guard Ty Lawson, who’s missed the last two games with a shoulder injury. He’s questionable for this contest.

Eight of the Clippers last 10 games have been on the road, and they’ve gone 7-3 SU in those games. It’s been the big boys in the paint doing most of the damage in Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. Griffin has scored a combined 52 points in his last two games and Jordan has snagged double-digit boards in 27 straight games.
The Clippers are 17-10 against the spread on the road, while Denver is only 9-14 ATS at home. However, all this traveling has got to be taking a toll on the Clippers and could finally catch up to them against a Denver team that is playing its third straight home game. Los Angeles wasn’t so sharp in its recent games against Washington or Golden State.
The home team is 4-0 against the spread in the last four meetings between these two teams and 13 of the Clippers 16 losses this season have come on the road.
Assuming Lawson plays, I’ll gladly take Denver and the points.
