The Line: Dallas Mavericks -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Utah Jazz will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak tonight when they take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The Jazz have lost five of their last seven and their last three straight after getting thumped by the Raptors by 94-79 on Monday. Marvin Williams led all scorers with 23 points on nine of 16 shooting while Alec Burks added 20 points off the bench, but the rest of the team really struggled to score points against the Raptors. Enes Kanter really struggled to match the intensity of the Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas and as such, played just 20 minutes which allowed Rudy Gobert to play extended minutes off the bench. The Jazz really got exposed in the paint but the good news is that they could have Derrick Favors back in uniform for tonight's game if he can get through the practice and shootaround.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have won four of their last five and will be going for a fourth straight win after blowing past the Grizzlies by 110-96 on Wednesday. Dirk Nowitzki led the scoring with 26 points on 10 of 14 shooting, while Samuel Dalembert and Monta Ellis added 14 points apiece, but as efficient as they were on offense, they were even better on defense as they outscored the Grizzlies by 58-41 in a dominant second half performance by forcing turnover after turnover. With the win, Dallas improved to 29-21 overall and 12-13 on the road where they will play six of their next eight games.
In ATS trends, the Jazz are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games following a double digit loss at home and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, while the Mavs are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record and 6-13 ATS in their last 19 home games.
Head to head, the Jazz are 4-0 ATS in the lsat four meetings overall and the Over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Dallas.
The line is finally released for this game and it's the Mavs who are favored by nine points at home which seems just about right. Given the way the Mavs were able to blow away the resilient Grizzlies team, they shouldn't have too much trouble getting past this struggling Jazz unit.
