The Line: Washington Wizards -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

A couple of the league's best point guards collide tonight when the Cleveland Cavaliers battle the Washington Wizards.

The Cavaliers will be desperate to avoid a seventh straight loss after getting embarassed by the shorthanded Lakers on Wednesday night. CJ Miles had a strong outing of 27 points while Anderson Varejao added 15 points and 13 rebounds, but most of those points came in garbage time as the Cavs found themselves down by 70-49 heading into halftime against a Lakers team ravaged by injury. In fact, by the end of the game, the Lakers were down to just five players but the lacklustre Cavs just couldn't get it together on either end of the floor. Kyrie Irving particularly struggled, scoring just 11 points on five of 14 shooting in an up-tempo game against an old Lakers backcourt that he should have dominated. With the loss, Cleveland fall to 16-33 overall and 11-13 at home.

Meanwhile, the Wizards were going for a third straight win on Wednesday, but fell just short to the Spurs by 125-118 in overtime. John Wall led seven players in double figures with 29 points and nine assists, while Bradley Beal added 19 points, but the Wizards just couldn't execute down the stretch which led to a 16th straight loss to the Spurs, a streak which goes back more than eight years. Of course the Wizards will be disappointed with the loss, but they will definitely be proud that they were able to beat the Warriors, the Thunder and the Trailblazers over the last eight days. With the loss, Washington drop back to .500 with a record of 24-24 overall.

In ATS trends, the Cavs are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 road games and 0-6 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Wizards are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 home games.

Head to head, the Cavs are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Washington.

The line is finally out for this game and I have to say that I am a little disappointed that the spread is as high as it is, but then again it's not that surprising when you really look at how these two teams have been playing lately. The Wizards are clearly the hotter team at the moment and have been beating some of the best teams in the league so you can bet I'm taking them against one of the worst.
