The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns will clash in a Saturday night matchup in what should be an offensive explosion. These two teams split the previous two meetings that took place in December.
The Warriors are coming off a big win Thursday against the Chicago Bulls where they played without David Lee and Andrew Bogut. Still, they shot 48.2 percent against one of the better defenses in the league and still managed to grab 39 rebounds. They are 3-0 in their last three games when scoring more than 100 points and have turned up the defensive pressure as of late, holding teams to under 90 points in their last five games.

Phoenix is on a bit of a losing streak, losing two straight and playing sloppy defense. You know it’s bad when the Bulls top 100 points against you. Although the Suns are shooting 46.1 percent in their last five games, they’re allowing teams to score 105.8 points. Still, the Suns have managed to win four of their last five games when scoring more than 100 points.
Based on the stats, the first team to score 100 points should win this game.
The Suns are 16-8 SU at home and the Warriors are 15-11 SU on the road. Against the spread, Golden State is 13-12-1 on the road and the Suns are 14-9-1 ATS at home.
This game could really go either way and it’s probably better to take a look at the over. However, there’s just too much value to pass up points anytime they’re given to the Warriors. They’re deadly when the shooters are knocking down shots, and I think the win over the Bulls was a turning point.
With or without Lee in the lineup, take Golden State and the points with a great deal of confidence.
