The Minnesota Timberwolves hope to have Kevin Love back in uniform tonight when they welcome the Houston Rockets to town.
The Timberwolves have lost five of their last six and will be hoping to avoid a fourth straight loss tonight after falling to the Trailblazers by 117-110 on Saturday. Corey Brewer led the team with 26 points while Ricky Rubio had a big game of 25 points and nine assists, but not for the first time this season, the Wolves failed to play 48 minutes of defense as the Blazers poured in 34 points in the fourth quarter to run away with the win. Despite the loss, the Wolves will be happy with how they managed to stick with the Blazers for most of the game without their top three leading scorers in Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Love, but the good news is that Love is expected to return to the starting lineup tonight.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have won eight of their last 10 and are on a five-game win streak after scraping past the lowly Bucks by 101-95 on Saturday. Dwight Howard had a monster game of 27 points, 13 rebounds and five assists while James Harden added 22 points but for a game that should have been a breeze, the Rockets almost let this one get away as they never put the Bucks away which meant they were fighting right till the end. Despite Houston's lack of intensity, they still won the game which means they improve to 34-17 overall and 13-10 on the road where they've won five of their last six.
In ATS trends, the Rockets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a win, while the Wolves are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Rockets are only 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall but a healthy 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Minnesota.
