The Washington Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies do battle at the FedExForum on Saturday night.

The Washington Wizards have been in a rut lately as they’ve lost five of their past six games overall and they will be hoping to stop a four-game skid after falling painfully short to the Clippers in a 116-115 home loss on Tuesday. Bradley Beal led the team with 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists, Kyle Kuzma added 19 points with 12 rebounds while Daniel Gafford and Montrezl Harrell each scored 12 points. As a team, the Wizards shot 46 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the 3-point line as they dominated the first half to lead by as many as 35 points in the first half, before allowing 80 points in the second half to allow the Clippers to steal the game in one of the biggest comebacks ever. Spencer Dinwiddie had a rough night as he finished with just five points on two of 10 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after beating the Jazz in a 119-109 home win last night. Ja Morant led the team with a triple-double of 30 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists, Brandon Clarke added 22 points on nine of 12 shooting off the bench while Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in with 18 points with six blocks. As a team, the Grizzlies shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and nine of 23 from the 3-point line as they went on an explosive 18-2 run in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, before holding the Jazz to just eight points in the final 4:38 to escape with the win.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 road games and 7-18-1ATS in their last 26 games overall. The Grizzlies are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games, 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games overall.

Head to head, the under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings overall, the Wizards are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Wizards are 5-16-1 ATS in the last 22 meetings in Miami. The Grizzlies are going to be shorthanded once again as Dillon Brooks, Tyus Jones and Kyle Anderson have all been ruled out. The Wizards have lost four straight home games and their latest one hurt the most as they squandered a 35-point lead, so they will be eager to bounce back in this one. However, the Grizzlies have been one the hottest teams in the league lately and the Wizards are only 5-16-1 ATS in the last 22 meetings in Miami. I expect the Wizards to come out firing after getting embarrassed in their last outing, but I’m sticking with the Grizzlies to get the win and cover at home.
