The Philadelphia 76ers will be desperate to avoid another embarrassing loss tonight when they take on the Utah Jazz.
The 76ers have lost 10 of their last 11 and will be looking to snap a seven-game losing streak tonight after getting embarassed by the Warriors by 123-80 on Monday. Michael Carter-Williams had a nice game of 24 points... that's the only silver lining for what was yet another terrible game. The 76ers started the game fine, but suddenly found themselves down by 66-33 heading into halftime after a horrific 37-12 second quarter. The second half was played just for fun as the 76ers never really narrowed the Margin until the Warriors emptied their bench.

Meanwhile, the Jazz managed to follow up their shock win over the Heat on Saturday with a comprehensive 96-79 win over the Lakers last night. Alec Burks led the team with 24 points while Gordon Hayward added 15 points and seven assists as the Jazz took control of the game in a 32-10 second quarter before runnning away in the fourth quarter against a depleted Lakers outfit. With the win, Utah improve to 18-33 on the season and 7-19 on the road where they've lost three of their last four.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, while the Jazz are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the 76ers are 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and 0-5 ATS in the last five in Utah.
I really want to pick the 76ers with the points in this one, because I'm sure they'll bounce back sooner or later but I just can't pick them and feel good about it. Instead, I'm picking the Jazz to win and cover at home in a game I won't be touching.
