The Line: Memphis Grizzlies -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The New York Knicks look to kick off a four-game road trip with a win tonight when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies.
The Knicks lost five of their last six games heading into the All-Star break but will be hoping that the time off gives them the rest they needed to make their playoff run. Yes, the Knicks are only 20-32 on the season but the Eastern Conference is so weak that their record only puts them 2 1/2 games behind the eighth-placed Bobcats. Carmelo Anthony set an All-Star Game record with eight three-pointers made in the East's win over the West on Sunday, but his victory was short-lived as the trade rumors and speculation about him continue to swirl amidst the Knicks' tumultuous season.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies won nine of their last 12 games heading into the All-Star break and will be looking to kick off their playoff run with their fourth home win in five outings. The Grizzlies were truly one of the form teams heading into the break but they may have to continue on for a little longer without Mike Conley as he could sit out a few more games with the ankle sprain that saw him miss seven games. A bigger concern for the team is actually Marc Gasol who re-aggravated his left knee injury last Wednesday but had an initial MRI come back as negative.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
The Grizzlies have taken three of the last four meetings between these teams, including a 95-87 win in New York on Dec. 21 behind 25 points and 15 rebounds from Zach Randolph but while I'm confident the Grizzlies will win again, I'll have to see the spread to make my official pick for this game.
Gasol said that he is all clear to play tonight so I'm taking the Grizzlies to win and cover in this one.
