The Line: Los Angeles Lakers -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Los Angeles Lakers will be hoping to have Pau Gasol back on the court tonight when they take on the Houston Rockets.
The Lakers have lost 10 of their last 12 and were on a three-game losing streak heading into the All-Star break. Their last outing came against the Thunder in what looked like a serious mismatch, but the Lakers were able to put together a strong performance and almost pulled out the upset, losing by 107-103. Chris Kaman and Wesley Johnson had 19 points apiece while Kendall Marshall had 14 points and 17 assists, but despite keeping Kevin Durant to 24 points after three quarters, his 19 points in the fourth sent the Lakers to a franchise-worst seventh straight home loss.

On the other hand we have the Rockets who stormed into the break on the back of a seven straight wins capped by a thrilling 113-112 win against the Wizards. Dwight Howard had a big game of 24 points and 16 rebounds, while Chandler Parsons added 18 points, but when it came to winning time, the Rockets turned to James Harden who delivered with 35 points including a game-winning layup to give the Rockets the win. Patrick Beverley sat out the game with an abdominal strain and is listed as day-to-day.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games, while the Rockets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games against a team below .400.
Head to head, the favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and the Over is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings.
The Lakers are much better at home than they are on the road but they shouldn't be able to keep up with the Rockets here.
