The Denver Nuggets head to Milwaukee on Thursday to face off against the lowly Bucks.
The Milwaukee Bucks currently have just ten wins on the season, meaning that it’s pretty safe to say that the Bucks will be watching the playoffs from the comfort of their couches this post season. Milwaukee did get a win in their last outing, defeating the Magic on Tuesday 104-100. Before that however, the Bucks dropped four straight. The Bucks were led by Caron Butler against the Magic this past Tuesday, as Butler finished the night with 21 points and seven boards.

The Denver Nuggets are currently four games below the .500 mark this season, as the Nuggets are sitting at 24-28 right now. Denver, as it stands right now would be sitting out this post season, as the Nuggets are currently 6.5 games back of the number eight seed Dallas Mavericks, who are 32-23 on the season. Denver has struggled lately, dropping their last five games heading into this meeting on Thursday with the Bucks. Denver’s latest loss came against the Suns on Tuesday, when Denver fell to Phoenix 112-107 in overtime.
The Nuggets are 0-4 against the spread in their last four games following a loss, and Denver is 0-4 against the spread in their last four games on the road. Denver is also 0-6 against the spread in their last six games overall.
The Milwaukee Bucks are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games overall, and the Bucks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games at home. Milwaukee is also 4-1 against the spread in their last five games following an ATS win.
I’m going to take the Bucks in this spot. I know that Denver really needs a win here, but it’s looking more and more like Lawson won’t be playing for Denver. If he goes, this game is a tossup and I’ll be staying away, but if he is still on the bench there is some advantage here with the Bucks at home.
