The Boston Celtics will head to Sacramento on Saturday to face off against the Kings.
The Sacramento Kings are sitting at 18-36 this season, and obviously the Kings will be enjoying the playoffs from home this season. The Kings are solid offensively, scoring an average of 101.1 points per game, but the defense is horrible, allowing more than 103.5 per outing, one of the worst averages in the league. Sacramento has dropped four out of their last five games heading into this meeting with the Celtics, with their last game resulting in a loss to the Warriors on Wednesday, 101-92 on the Kings home floor.

The Boston Celtics, like the other traditional powers, the Lakers and the Knicks, are really struggling this season. Boston is just 19-37 on the season, putting them at fourth place in their division, and 12th place in the East. Boston once again has a strong defense, but the points just aren’t coming for this team, as the Celtics are scoring just over 95 points per outing. The Celtics are in the middle of a tough four game West coast road stretch, and so far this trip has resulted in losses to the Lakers and the Suns. Their last outing was against the Lakers on Friday, where Boston fell 101-92.
Boston is just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following a straight up loss, and Boston is just 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games following a loss against the spread.
The Kings are 6-2-1 against the spread in their last nine games following an ATS loss, and the Kings are just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games overall.
Boston beat up on the Kings earlier this season in Boston, but now the game is in Sacramento and the Celtics are banged up. It looks as though Cousins will be back on the floor for the Kings tonight which will give Sacramento a huge boost. I don’t love this game either way and will be staying away personally, but if you must, taking the Kings at home looks like the side.
