The Line: Portland Trail Blazers -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
Kevin Love and the Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Portland Trailblazers at the Moda Center tonight.
The Timberwolves will be looking to build on their three-game win streak after taking down the Jazz by 121-104 last night. All of the Wolves' five starters finished in double figures while the team shot over 51 percent from the field, but this game was all about Kevin Love who exploded for 37 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his first triple-double. It seemed like it didn't matter whether the Jazz missed or made their shots because if Love or Ricky Rubio got the rebound, they were launching the quick outlet pass and getting rewarded every time, such is the inexperience of the young Jazz.

Meanwhile, the Trailblazers were able to snap a three-game skid by also taking down the Jazz, beating them by 102-94 on Friday. In the absence of LaMarcus Aldridge, Damian Lillard picked up the slack and led the team in scoring with 28 points and seven assists, while Wesley Matthews added 24 points. Robin Lopez also played a key role with his 12 points and a career-high 18 rebounds as the Blazers won the game on a dominant 38-21 fourth quarter rally. Despite the win, Portland is still only 4-7 in their last 11 games but they could get Nicolas Batum back in the lineup tonight after he left Friday's game early with gastroenteritis.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games playing on no days rest, while hte Blazers are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following an ATS loss and 0-5 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Wolves are 6-22 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Portland.
It's a shame that there are so many key players missing from both sides, because this would've been a great matchup to see. However, with the players these teams have available, I'd have to give the slight lean to the visitors with the points here.
