The Chicago Bulls head to Atlanta on Tuesday to face off against the Hawks.
The Atlanta Hawks are sitting at 26-29 on the season, and currently the Hawks are in third place in their division. Atlanta is of one of the better offensive teams in the league this season, but the defense has been horrible for the Hawks, one of the main reasons for their struggles at times. The Hawks are coming off a solid win against the Knicks on Saturday, defeating New York 107-98, giving the Hawks their first win in eight games.

The Chicago Bulls have been far from impressive this season, but even so the Bulls are in fourth place in the East division, putting them in solid playoff position. The Bulls are one of the best defensive teams in the league this season, ranking second in the NBA, with an average of 92.3 points per game allowed. The Bulls dropped their last outing, falling to the Heat on Sunday, but Chicago has won five out of their last six heading into this meeting with the Hawks.
The Bulls are 7-1 against the spread in their last eight games against the East, and Chicago is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games following an ATS loss.
The Hawks are 1-7-1 against the spread in their last nine games, and the Hawks are 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four games against the Central.
I have to give the edge here to the Bulls. Chicago has owned the other two meetings between these two teams this season, and even though the Bulls will be making their first trip to Atlanta on the year, the Bulls are in prime position to take another one from the Hawks. Atlanta will play better here, but Chicago is the better team, especially defensively and on the boards, and that likely will be the difference.
