The Line: Milwaukee Bucks -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Brooklyn Nets will be looking to cap off their seven-game road trip with a win tonight when they take on the Milwaukee Bucks.
After suffering a horrific 44-point loss to the Trailblazers on Wednesday, the Nets made sure they dominated from tipoff and unfortunately it was the Nuggets who were in the firing line. The Nets showed supreme focus and determination, storming out to a 29-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and locking the game up midway through the third quarter. Paul Pierce led the way with 18 points in just 22 minutes but no one else even scored more than 10 points because with the early lead, coach Kidd was able to give every player in uniform a significant run on the court. With the win, Brooklyn improves to 27-29 on the season and 3-3 on their current road trip.

Meanwhile, the Bucks have lost seven of their last nine games but showed plenty of fight in their 101-96 loss to the Pacers on Thursday. Falling behind by 15 points to start the second quarter, the Bucks played fearless basketball and tied the game up at halftime before building a six-point lead in midway through the third quarter. They would eventually fall behind big again, but they didn't go down without a fight, scoring 11 points in the final minute of the game to keep the Pacers honest. Brandon Knight led the Bucks with 23 points in just 29 minutes while Khris Middleton continued his strong form with 22 points of his own.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 4-0 ATS in their last four games against a team with a losing record and 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a win, while the Bucks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Nets are 3-14 ATS in the last 17 meetings overall and 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Milwaukee.
At first glance, you'd take the Nets to win and cover the spread easily against the Bucks, but everything about this game smells like a letdown. The Nets really should win, but this one might be closer than you think.
