The Utah Jazz invade the Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.

The Utah Jazz have been in stellar form as they’ve won 16 of their past 20 games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting thrashed by the Raptors in a 122-108 road loss last night. Eric Paschall led the team with 29 points on 10 of 21 shooting, Elijah Hughes added 26 points with eight rebounds and four assists while Jared Butler chipped in with 17 points and four assists. As a team, the Jazz shot 48 percent from the field and 17 of 38 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 40 points in the first quarter to lead by as many as 17 points in the first half, before getting run down in the second half where they got outscored by 73-46. With so many key players sitting out, the Jazz resorted to a makeshift lineup that just didn’t have a chance in the second half.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their past 11 games overall and they will be hoping to snap a six-game slide after getting stopped by the Nets in a 129-121 home loss on Wednesday. Domantas Sabonis led the team with a triple-double of 32 points with 12 rebounds and 10 assists, Lance Stephenson added 30 points with five assists off the bench while Keifer Sykes chipped in with 18 points and five assists. As a team, the Pacers got off to a quick start and exploded for 73 points in the first half to lead by as many as 19 points, but they couldn’t maintain the pace and eventually fell in the fourth quarter where they were outscored by 35-20.

Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games playing on zero days’ rest, 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Pacers are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine home games, 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 games playing on two days’ rest and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games against a team above .600.

Head to head, the under is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall and the Jazz are 2-5 ATS in the last seven meetings overall.

The Jazz should be severely shorthanded once again with Donovan Mitchell, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert all listed as out and the Pacers have their own concerns as Malcolm Brogdon, Chris Duarte, Caris LeVert and Jeremy Lamb are all listed as questionable. The Pacers could have the edge in this one if a few of their questionable players are able suit up, but I’m sticking with the Jazz to bounce back after blowing a 17-point lead in their last outing.
