The Portland Trailblazers and the Dallas Mavericks do battle at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Tuesday night.

The Portland Trailblazers have been in great form as they’ve won four of their six games in Orlando and they will be looking to stay hot after outlasting the 76ers in a 124-121 win on Sunday. Damian Lillard led the team with 51 points and seven assists on 16 of 28 shooting, Carmelo Anthony added 20 points, CJ McCollum scored 16 points with four assists while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 15 points and three blocks. As a team, the Trailblazers shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 35 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 17-point lead, before closing the game on a 13-7 run in the final 4:08 to escape with the much-needed win.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in good shape themselves as they’ve won three of their last four games and they will be looking for a third straight victory after last night’s 122-114 win over the Jazz. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the team with 27 points and four assists, Seth Curry added 22 points on eight of 11 shooting, Boban Marjanovic scored 20 points while JJ Barea chipped in with 18 points and eight assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot a healthy 56 percent from the field and 12 of 24 from the 3-point line as they were sluggish to start the game and quickly found themselves trailing by as many as 22 points, before they flipped the switch in the fourth quarter where they outscored the Jazz by 34-14 to escape with their best comeback win of the season.

Head to head, the over is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall, the Trailblazers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Dallas and the Trailblazers are 7-21 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall.

Hassan Whiteside sat out on Sunday with a hip injury, but he is listed as probable for Tuesday which is a major boost for the Trailblazers. Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis and Dorian Finney-Smith were all rested last night and there hasn’t been any updates on their availability at this stage, so who knows who will suit up tonight. The Trailblazers have been a team on a mission, Lillard is fresh off a 51-point performance and they’re getting back a key big man in Whiteside. The Trailblazers need this win to remain in the playoff hunt and I think they get it done here.
