The Portland Trailblazers travel to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks tonight.
The Trailblazers have won six of their last seven games and will be feeling good about themselves after crushing the Hawks by 102-78 on Wednesday. Mo Williams led all scorers with 15 points off the bench while Nicolas Batum added 14 points and a career-high 18 rebounds for Portland, but the icing on the cake was that they were able to put a halt to Kyle Korver's three-point shooting record which ends at 127 games. The only blemish of the game was the shooting of LaMarcus Aldridge who finished with 21 points but made just one of 13 from the field which shows that he's still working off some rust from his time on the bench. Portland is now 42-19 overall and 24-8 at home.

On the other hand, the Mavericks are coming off their third straight loss after falling to the Nuggets by 115-110 on Wednesday. Dirk Nowitzki led the way with 27 points on 13 of 20 shooting while Vince Carter added 17 points off the bench, but the Mavs just couldn't contain the Nuggets who dominated the first half by 68-51. They would fight back in a strong 22-11 third quarter, but had it not been for a flurry of threes in the last couple minutes of the game, the Mavs would have lost the game by double digits easily. With the loss, Dallas drops to 36-26 overall and 17-16 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games following a win of more than 10 points, while the Mavs are 36-16 ATS in their last 52 games following a loss and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning road record.
Head to head, the Blazers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings and the Over is 5-0 in the last five meetings in Dallas.
The Blazers are coming off a massive win and should be feeling good coming into tonight, but I actually think the Mavs will bounce back in this game and grab a tight win at home.
