The Sacramento Kings head to Toronto on Friday to face off against the playoff bound Raptors.
The Toronto Raptors are currently ranked third in the Eastern Conference this season, having a record of 33-26. It is kind of sad to think about a record of 33-26 being third place in a conference, but still, it is what it is. The Raptors have gotten to where they are by playing great defense this season, holding opponents to an average of 97.1 points per game. The offense has struggled at times however, as the Raptors are ranked 17th in the NBA this season, putting up just 100.2 per outing.

The Sacramento Kings will be watching the playoffs from home this season, as the Kings are currently in 13th place in the West, with a record of 22-39. The Kings are led offensively by DeMarcus Cousins this season, who is scoring 22.3 points per game. Sacramento has dropped three out of their last five heading into this meeting, but those two wins have been in their last two outings, so technically the Kings are on a bit of a win streak. Sacramento’s last outing was a win against the Bucks, in Milwaukee on Wednesday, 116-102.
Sacramento is 1-4 against the spread in their last five games when allowing triple digits in their last outing, and the Kings are also just 1-5 against the spread in their last six outings when scoring 100+ in the game before.
The Toronto Raptors are 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games on Friday nights, and the Raptors are 11-5-1 against the spread in their last 17 games at home. The Raptors are also 15-6 against the spread in their last 21 games following an outright win.
Personally I won’t be touching this one, but if you want to make a play here, I’d take the Raptors. Toronto is tough at home, and the Kings have played poorly on the road this season.
Anything could probably happen here, but the angles look to be with the Raptors.
