Two of the hotter teams in the league will clash when the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Toronto Raptors. This is the second and final meeting between these teams, as the Raptors won 94-89 back in January.
The Raptors have won five of their last six games and are playing with more and more confidence each time we see them. During this stretch, they’re averaging 107.2 points on 47 percent shooting and are allowing 100.4 points on 42.8 percent shooting. All of a sudden they’ve become an offensive team led by DeMar DeRozan, who is averaging 22.7 points on the season. On the road, the Raptors average 98.2 points and allow 96.3 points. They are 36-23-1 ATS overall and 21-9 ATS on the road.

The Timberwolves have won seven of their last nine games as they hope to continue to chip away in hopes of earning that eighth seed in the West. Kevin Love has scored 30 or more points in seven of his last 11 games, and the Timberwolves are averaging 114 points in their last five. Defensively, they’re forcing 16 turnovers during that span. At home, the Timberwolves average 106.7 points and allow 100.1 points. They are 32-29 ATS overall and 14-15 ATS at home.
This game could really go either way and it’s always wise to take the points when that’s the case. However, that was probably going to be the case anyway. The Raptors have been money all season on the road ATS and you’d be foolish to hop off that money train until it stops paying.
Besides their ridiculous road ATS record, they’re also 9-2 in their last 11 games following a SU win of more than 10 points, and they’ve covered seven of their last eight games that have been played in Minnesota.
Yeah, take the points and call it a night.
