The Brooklyn Nets travel to the American Airlines Arena to take on the Miami Heat tonight.
The Nets have won six of their last seven overall and will be going for a third straight win tonight after beating the Raptors by 101-97 on Monday. Deron Williams and Shaun Livingston led the team in scoring with 18 points apiece while Paul Pierce battled foul trouble and came up big in the fourth quarter to finish with 15 points for the game. Despite falling behind by 11 points early in the game, the Nets battled their way to a hard fought, eighth straight win at home to improve to 32-30 on the season and 20-11 at home.

On the other hand, the Heat were able to bounce back from an 0-3 road trip with a 99-90 win over the Wizards at home on Monday. LeBron James set the tone early on with 23 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, Chris Bosh added 22 points and Dwyane Wade scored 13 of his 22 points in the final perioud as the Heat closed out the Wizards on a 12-0 down the stretch. With the win, Miami officially clinched a playoff spot and their 44-17 record means leaves them just one game behind the top seeded Indiana.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600, while the Heat are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five home games and 7-3-2 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Head to head, the Nets are 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and just 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Miami.
I know it's tempting to take the Heat to win by double digits at home, but I actually think this game could be a tight one so I'm taking the visitors with the points here.
