The Houston Rockets and Miami Heat will play their second and final meeting during the regular season. The Rockets won the first meeting a couple of weeks ago, 106-103.
The Rockets have begun their three-game road trip with two straight losses. They were held under 100 points in both games, and James Harden was just 2-7 from the field in the 111-87 loss to the Chicago Bulls. On the season, the Rockets average 106.2 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allow 101.8 points on 43.9 percent shooting. However, they’ve lost their last four games when failing to reach the 100-point mark. They are 33-30-2 ATS overall and 16-16 ATS on the road.

The Heat have also lost two in a row, and five of their last six games. During this stretch, they’re averaging 95.2 points on 46.9 percent shooting and are allowing 100.6 points on 44.7 percent shooting. LeBron James has been in a funk recently as well, scoring under 20 points in three of his last five games. The good news for the Heat is that Dwyane Wade has topped 20 points in eight of his last 10 games. The Heat are 28-32-2 ATS overall and 12-18-1 ATS on their home court.
The Rockets are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games playing on 2 days rest and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Heat are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 1 days rest and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Rockets are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings against the Heat.
As usual, the Heat are a tricky team to figure out. With that being the case, I'm going to back the over and stay far away from the spread. The over has hit in five of the last six meetings between these two teams and is 4-1 in the Heat's last five games against teams with a winning SU record.
