The Toronto Raptors head to Atlanta on Tuesday to face off against the Hawks.
The Atlanta Hawks are currently 30-35 this season, and are in the eighth spot at this point in the East. The Hawks improved their position after an impressive showing on Monday night, defeating the Charlotte Bobcats, in Charlotte 97-83. The Hawks trailed at the half, but came back strong with an impressive third quarter to take the lead for good over the Bobcats. Leading the way for the Hawks on Monday was Paul Milsap, who finished with 28 points on the night.

The Toronto Raptors are currently in third place in the East, having an impressive record of 36-27. The Raptors won’t wow you with their offense all the time, but Toronto gets it done on the defensive end of the floor, holding opponents to an average of 97.2 points per game, good enough for fifth in the NBA. The Raptors have won two out of their last three heading into Tuesday’s meeting with the Hawks. Last time out, Toronto fell to the Suns in Toronto on Sunday, 121-113.
The Raptors are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games on Tuesday nights, and Toronto is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against the Southwest. Toronto is also 12-3 against the spread in their last 15 games on the road when facing a team with a winning record at home.
The Hawks are 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games at home, and Atlanta is 1-8-1 against the spread in their last ten games against a team with a winning record.
I have to take the Hawks here. Atlanta needs this game more, and the Hawks are fresh off a solid road win against a solid Bobcats team. The Raptors are better rested, but getting points with an inspired Atlanta team here looks like the side to be on.
