The Line: Brooklyn Nets -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Boston Celtics take the trip to the new Barclays Center tonight to battle the Brooklyn Nets.
The Celtics were able to snap a five-game losing streak with a 101-96 win over the Heat on Wednesday. Avery Bradley sunk six three-pointers for his 23 points while Brandon Bass added 18 points, but for me, the MVP of the night was Rajon Rondo who paced the Celtics with nine points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists. Yes, the Heat were playing without LeBron James so the win comes with an asterisk, but the C's showed plenty of resolve to bounce back from an early 38-24 deficit, outscoring the heat by 77-58 the rest of the way.

Meanwhile, the Nets have won nine of their last 11 games and will be looking for a third straight win after beating the Bobcats by 104-99 on Wednesday. Deron Williams led the way with a big game of 25 points and eight assists, including 11 points in the final six minutes as the Nets continued their surge towards the playoffs. Joe Johnson added 20 points and Shaun Livingston added 17 to lead the Nets to their 10th straight home win and improve to 35-31 overall. With the win, Brooklyn stays half a game ahead of Washington with the fifth seed in the East which is massive, because you'd rather face Chicago or Toronto in the first round instead of Miami.
In ATS trends, the Celtics are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games against the Eastern Conference and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Nets are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Head to head, the Celtics are 10-4-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings in Brooklyn and the Under is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings.
With such heavy playoff implications at stake, I can't see the Nets letting this game get too close, not at home where they've won 10 straight.
