The New York Knicks take the trip to the Wells Fargo Center tonight to take on the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Knicks are coming off a season-high seventh straight win after taking down the Pacers by 92-86 in Phil Jackson's debut game as the Knicks President. In a rough shooting night for the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony carried the load with 34 points on 12 of 23 shooting, while Amare Stoudemire added 21 points in just 29 minutes. On the defensive end, the Knicks did a great job of setting the tone and holding the Pacers to just 35 points in the first half while keeping Paul George to four of 17 from the field. New York's five previous wins came against teams below .500 so this win really validates the form the Knicks are in.

On the other side of the court, we have the 76ers who will be desperate to put an end to a 22-game losing streak. It's no secret that they're deliberately tanking for the upcoming draft, but they showed plenty of fight in their 102-94 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday. Thaddeus Young scored 24 points, Tony Wroten added 17 and Michael Carter-Williams had 16 as the 76ers stayed tight from start to finish, but just couldn't make the play to get them over the top. With three of their next four games coming against playoff-bound teams, Philadelphia could easily extend their franchise-record losing streak to 26 games if they don't win tonight.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, while the 76ers are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games following a loss and 5-22 ATS in their last 27 home games.
Head to head, the Knicks are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Philadelphia.
The 76ers have started to show some fight in their last couple games but if the Knicks have any playoff intentions, this is a game they should win by a big margin.
