The New Orleans Pelicans and Miami Heat will square off Saturday night in which will be a back-to-back for both teams. This is the second and final meeting between the Heat and Pelicans, as the Heat won 107-88 back in January.
The Heat will go on the road after a hard fought 91-86 win over the Memphis Grizzles on Friday. It was the Heat’s third win in their last six games. On the season, the Heat average 103.9 points on 50.7 percent shooting and allow 98.7 points on 45.7 percent shooting. However, the scoring has been down recently, as the Heat have been held under 100 points in five of their last eight games. Shooting guard Ray Allen has scored in the double figures in five straight games. The Miami Heat are 29-35-2 ATS overall and 16-17-1 ATS on the road.

The Pelicans are coming off an 11-105 road victory over the Atlanta Hawks. The win is just the Pelicans second in their last five games. On the season, New Orleans is averaging 99.8 points on 45.9 percent shooting and is allowing 102.4 points on 46.4 percent shooting. The Pelicans have scored 100-plus points in seven of their last eight games, while Anthony Davis is averaging 34.8 points on 59.8 percent shooting in his last four matchups. The New Orleans Pelicans are 28-35-4 ATS overall and 16-16-1 ATS at home.
The Heat are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest. The Pelicans are 5-11-2 ATS in their last 18 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The Heat are 5-0 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
I like New Orleans in this spot. The Heat are coming off a tough, emotional victory, and we've seen them not play their best at times in some of the worst spots in the season. Davis is a huge mismatch in the post and should be able to do just enough to keep this game close.
I'll take the Pelicans and the points.
