The Line: Sacramento Kings -8 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Sacramento Kings and the Milwaukee Bucks face off on Sunday in a NBA battle of teams not looking at making the post season.
The Sacramento Kings have lost three of their last four games and six of their last eight as they continue their downward spiral that has been this season. Sacramento is 14-20 at home this season and they sit in fourth place in the Pacific standings. The Kings are coming off of a 20 point loss to the Spurs where Isaiah Thomas scored 18 points to lead the Kings in the losing effort. DeMarcus Cousins had 15 points and 13 rebounds, Rudy Gay scored 14 points and grabbed five boards, and Travis outlaw had 13 points. Sacramento is averaging 101 points per game shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 33.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they are allowing 1-3.5 points and their opponents are averaging 103.5 points and they shoot 46 percent. The Kings are in 12th place in the Western Conference and 17 games outside of the playoffs.

The Milwaukee Bucks have lost six games in a row but even so they are improved over the team we saw a few months back. Milwaukee is 5-29 on the road this season and they are in fifth place in the Central. Brandon Knight is coming off of a 27-point effort in a 15-point loss to Golden State last time out. Ramon Sessions had 18 points, John Henson scored 13 points, and Khris Middleton, Ersan Ilyasova, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jeff Adrien each had 11 points. Milwaukee is averaging 95 points while shooting 43.2 percent and35.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc while defensively they allow 103.1 points and their opponents shoot 46.7 percent. Milwaukee sits in last place in the Eastern Conference and they should be looking at a top draft choice and some big time help on the way.
Sacramento is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games, and 8-19 against the spread in their last 27 home games against a team with a losing road record. Milwaukee is 8-2 against the spread in their last 10 road games, 13-5 against the spread following a loss, and 4-1 against the spread following a double-digit home loss. Milwaukee has covered the spread in six of their last seven games in Sacramento.
The line in this one is at eight points and that looks to be too high so I will take them with the Bucks on the road.
