The Toronto Raptors look to continue their playoff run with a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
The Raptors have lost three of their last five games overall but are coming off a nice 96-86 win over the Hawks thanks to Kyle Lowry who scored 25 points and dominated in a game-winning 36-15 fourth quarter. DeMar DeRozan added 21 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 13 points and 13 rebounds as the Raptors jumped to a record of 39-30 on the season which keeps them just half a game ahead of the Bulls who currently occupy the fourth seed in the East.

Lower down the standings, we have the Cavaliers who have lost eight of their last 11 games but were able to beat the Knicks by 106-100 last night. With Kyrie Irving out with a bicep injury, Jarrett Jack stepped into the starting lineup and had himself a monster game of 31 points and 10 assists while Dion Waiters added 22 points as the Cavs overcame a 61-46 first half to snap the Knicks' eight-game win streak. Despite the win, Cleveland are still 5 1/2 games out of the eighth spot with just 11 games left to play so I guess it's back to the lottery for them.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 24-9 ATS in their last 33 games against a team with a losing record and 18-7 ATS in their last 25 road games, while the Cavs are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a win.
Head to head, the Raptors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall but a healthy 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Cleveland.
This just looks like a game that the Raptors can't afford to lose if they want to climb up the standings so I'll take them to win and cover tonight.
