The Line: Washington Wizards -1 -- Over/Under: 210 See the Latest Odds
The Phoenix Suns and Washington Wizards will meet for the second and final time this season when they play Wednesday. The Wizards won the previous meeting back in January, 101-95.
The Phoenix Suns are back to playing great basketball, as they’ve won six of their last seven games. On the season, the Suns average 105.5 points on 46.3 percent shooting and allow 102.8 points on 45.5 percent shooting. However, the Suns offense has reached newer heightsrecently, as Phoenix is shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from three in the last five games. The Suns have also held three of their last five opponents under 100 points. The Phoenix Suns are 46-24-1 ATS overall and 25-9 ATS on the road.

The Washington Wizards haven’t been nearly as hot as the Suns, losing five of their last eight games. On the season, the Wizards average 101 points on 45.5 percent shooting and allow 100.5 points on 46.3 percent shooting. The Wizards have scored 100-plus points in six straight games, and point guard John Wall is shooting 50.6 percent from the field in his last five. The problem is, during that stretch, Washington is allowing teams to shoot 40.8 percent from three. The Washington Wizards are 36-33-1 ATS overall and 13-19-1 ATS at home.
The Suns are 25-9 ATS in their last 34 road games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Wizards are 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 home games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Suns are 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Washington, while the favorite is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.
With the way the Wizards have been allowing teams to shoot the ball and the Suns being red hot over the last week or so, I’ll gladly take Phoenix and the point.
