The Line: Orlando Magic -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Charlotte Bobcats take a trip to the Amway Center tonight to battle the Orlando Magic.
The Bobcats had lost three of four games before steadying the ship with a thrilling 116-111 overtime win against the Nets on Wednesday. Al Jefferson continued his terrific season with 35 points and 15 rebounds, Kemba Walker added 20 points and 12 assists and Chris Douglas-Roberts had 16 points off the bench as the Bobcats shot 50 percent from the field. With the win, Charlotte moved to within 1 1/2 games of the sixth-placed Washington who they would love to overtake to avoid Indiana and Miami in the first round of the playoffs.

Lower down the standings, the Magic were able to snap a nine-game losing streak with a 95-85 win over the Trailblazers on Tuesday. Tobias Harris led hte scoring with 25 points off the bench while Nikola Vucevic added 22, but Victor Oladipo definitely deserves some praise as well because he stepped into the starting point guard role and ran the offense well, while still playing great defense to hold Damian Lillard to five of 17 shooting. The Magic have been out of the playoff race for a while, so the win really doesn't mean much, but it does equal their win total from last season with 10 games left to play, so that's an achievement for this season.
In ATS trends, the Bobcats are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a losing record and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall, while hte Magic are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 home games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games following a win.
Head to head, the Bobcats are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Orlando.
The Magic's latest win over the Blazers really has me feeling nervous about the Bobcats' chances here, but Al Jeff and the boys from Charlotte should really win this one because there's just too much in terms of playoff implications on the line here.
