From a betting stand point, there has been no better team in the entire league than the Phoenix Suns, the same team that was expected to win a whole 20 games this season. Not only have they bettered that by 23 games already, they have covered the spread in 47 of their 72 contest so far this season, which is a pretty remarkable number. Phoenix has done most of their damage away from home this season, going 26-9 ATS in their 35 road games to date.
While the New York Knicks have been just about the biggest disapointment this season, they still have a chance to steal the last playoff spot from the Atlanta Hawks thanks to their recent surge. The Knicks did drop recent consecutive games against Cleveland and Los Angeles, allowing the Lakers to score a season-high 51 points in the third quarter, but they have been pretty good for the most part, which included going on an eight-game winning streak through the middle of March.
Even though the Suns and Knicks combined for just 194 points in their first meeting, which went into overtime by the way, I still like the over in this one. Phoenix has put up massive totals at home all season long and while New York has slowed down on the offensive end just a tough lately, it wasn't long ago that they were putting up 100+ points on a regular basis. Give me the over...
