The Line: Houston Rockets -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Los Angeles Clippers take the trip to the Toyota Center tonight to battle the Houston Rockets.
The Clippers have won 13 of their last 15 games and bounced back from an upset loss at New Orleans on Wednesday with a thrilling win at Dallas on Thursday. Chris Paul led the way with 31 points while Blake Griffin added 18 points and 13 rebounds as the Clippers rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat the Mavericks by 109-103. Defensively, the Clippers did a great job of holding Monta Ellis to 12 points on four of 19 shooting, but with the game on the line, it was Paul who came up big with steals, assists and baskets to get his team over the line. With the win, LA improved to 51-22 overall which has them just two games behind Oklahoma for second place in the West.

Just one game behind LA is Houston who will be going for a sixth straight win tonight after making light work of Philadelphia on Thursday. James Harden led the way with a triple-double of 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists while Dwight Howard added 17 points and 13 rebounds as the Rockets led by 63-49 at halftime and never faltered down the stretch. With the 22-point win, Houston covered the 19.5 point spread to improve to 5-1 ATS in their last six home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
The Clippers have arguably been the hottest team this month, but while they've beaten teams left and right, they've been far from convincing in their last five games so I just get the feeling that the Rockets will come out on top in this one. The line isn't out yet, but I'll definitely be taking the Rockets at home if the spread is reasonable.
So, the line is finally out for this game and it's the Rockets who are favored by just two points, so I'll definitely be taking them to win and cover at home in this marquee matchup.
