The Philadelphia 76ers take the trip to the Philips Arena to battle the slumping Atlanta Hawks tonight.
The Hawks' playoff hopes took yet another hit on Saturday after they lost to the Wizards by 101-97 on Saturday. Jeff Teague led the scoring with 19 points while Paul Millsap added 17, but defensively they just couldn't contain the Wizards who had six players in double figures, led by John Wall who had 25 points. Once again, Kyle Korver sat out the game with a back injury but Pero Antic did make his return to the court and had himself a nice outing of 13 points and 12 rebounds in just 26 minutes. Atlanta is now only 1 1/2 games clear of New York who sit in ninth place with just 10 games left to play in the regular season.

At second last in the Eastern Conference standings, the 76ers will be breathing a big sigh of relief as they come into tonight fresh of a 123-98 win over the Pistons, snapping a 26-game losing streak. Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams led the way with 21 points each while Henry Sims added 16 as the determined 76ers stormed out to a 70-51 lead at halftime and never faltered. Sure, Phialdelphia has made it clear that they are tanking for the upcoming NBA draft, but they didn't want to break the record for most consecutive losses in a season and they achieved that on Saturday.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a win, while the Hawks are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games following a loss and 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the 76ers are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the Over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Indiana.
The Sixers are awful but this is too many points.
