The Line: Boston Celtics -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Philadelphia 76ers travel to The Garden to take on the Boston Celtics.
The 76ers put up a great effort last Saturday to beat the Pistons and snap that ugly 26-game losing streak, but it seems like they're back to tanking again as they come into tonight off a 123-93 trouncing at the hands of the Bobcats. Michael Carter-Williams had 22 points and Henry Sims added 15, but with the Bobcats leading by 63-38 going into halftime, this game was over in a flash. The Sixers just didn't have anyone to match up with Al Jefferson who lit them up for 25 points in just 31 minutes of action but that seems to be the case for them every night nowadays.

Meanwhile, the Celtics had lost 11 of their last 12 and will be looking to snap a six-game skid after getting thumped by the Wizards by 118-92 on Wednesday. Jared Sullinger poured in 25 points off the bench while Kelly Olynyk added 14, but the Celtics just got blown off the court by the Wizards who shot a ridiculous 62.5 percent from the field as a team. There really isn't anything to take away from the game except that the Wizards got red-hot and probably would have beaten anyone that night. With the loss, Boston drops to 23-52 overall and 8-29 on the road.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record but just 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games against a team below .400, while the Celtics are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the Favorite is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the Over is 5-1 in the last six meetings in Boston.
I'm leaning towards the Celtics at home in this one but I'll have to see the line before I can give out my free pick.
I didn't think the C's would be giving up 10 points in this one, but the 76ers have been getting blown out by everyone, so I'll reluctantly take the home team in this one.
