The Philadelphia 76ers invade the FedExForum to do battle with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their past seven games and they will be eager to stay hot after taking down the red-hot Warriors in a 102-93 home loss on Saturday. Joel Embiid led the team with 26 points, nine rebounds and four assists, Tobias Harris added 16 points with nine rebounds and three assists while Tyrese Maxey chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the 76ers shot 46 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the 3-point line as they got off to a solid start and led for most of the game, until the fourth quarter where they went on a pivotal 17-5 run to pull away and escape with the win.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their past eight games and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after outlasting the Rockets in a 113-106 home win on Saturday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 25 points, Desmond Bane added 19 points while Kyle Anderson chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 50 percent from the field and 11 of 29 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 40 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before holding the Rockets to just 18 points in the second quarter to lead by as many as 21 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the 76ers are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win and 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall. The Grizzlies are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games playing on one days’ rest and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall.

The Grizzlies are still without Ja Morant, Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke while Jaren Jackson Jr. is listed as questionable for this one, so the Grizzlies will be shorthanded once again, but that hasn’t slowed them down lately as they’ve won seven of eight. The 76ers are coming into this one with plenty of momentum themselves and they will take so much confidence from their hard-fought win over the Warriors on Saturday. This should be a close one, but with the Grizzlies’ injuries in their frontcourt, I’m taking Embiid and the 76ers to come out on top in this spot.
