TV: SUN, TSOH

The Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks will meet for the fourth time this season on Saturday and provide a possible first round playoff preview. The Heat have won two of the first three meetings.

The Heat are coming off an impressive win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday to create a little separation for the top seed in the East. On the season, the Heat average 102.8 points on 50.4 percent shooting and allow 97.3 points on 45.5 percent shooting. While Dwyane Wade continues to rest, LeBron James is shooting 56.2 percent from the field and averaging 34.8 points in his last five games. During that stretch, the Heat are shooting 49.3 percent from the field as a team. The Miami Heat are 36-40-2 ATS overall and 19-19-1 ATS on the road.

USA TODAY Sports

The Hawks continue to hold onto the final seed in the East, as they’ve won four of their last five games, including a 93-88 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. On the season, the Hawks average 101.1 points on 45.7 percent shooting and allow 101.9 points on 46.2 percent shooting. Paul Millsap is shooting 54.8 percent from the field and grabbing 11.6 rebounds in his last five games. The Atlanta Hawks are 34-43-1 ATS overall and 19-19 ATS at home.

The Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games playing on 0 days rest. The Hawks are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 home games and 8-23-1 ATS in their last 32 games overall. The Heat are 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Atlanta, while the favorite is 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

Judging by the line, oddmakers think there may be some sort of letdown from the Heat. I'm not buying it. The Hawks are coming off a big win as well, and frankly just aren't good enough to hang with the Heat even in another must win game.

While you'd be smart to see who Miami is playing in this game, I'm confident enough to lay the small chalk on the road.
