The Line: Atlanta Hawks -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Charlotte Bobcats pay a visit to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.
The Bobcats have won six of their last seven games and were able to get one step closer to clinching the highly coveted sixth seed by beating the 76ers on Saturday. Al Jefferson dominated the paint with 29 points on 13 of 19 shooting while six other players finished in double figures but the Bobcats were far from impressive as they allowed the 76ers to hang around from start to finish. Sure, you can say that they were a little disjointed beacuse they were without Kemba Walker who sat out with a sore groin, but they allowed 59 points in the first half because they played down to their opponent's level and almost got burned.

Meanwhile, the Hawks have been doing all the right things to get themselves into the playoff picture and they achieved that with style on Saturday by beating the Heat. Jeff Teague led from the front with 25 points while DeMarre Carroll added 17 points, but the real x-factor for the Hawks was actually Louis Williams who provided instant offense off the bench, scoring 23 points in just 23 minutes. With the win, Atlanta was able to improve to 37-43 and clinch the final playoff spot in the East.
In ATS trends, the Bobcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a win and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Hawks are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games following a win of more than 10 points and 5-12 ATS in their last 17 home games.
Head to head, the Bobcats are 2-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and the Over is 9-2 in the last 11.
The Bobcats have a lot more to play for than the Hawks, so I might be tipping them in this one but I'll have to see the line first.
If the Bobcats play as desperate as I think they will, this game should be an easy win and cover.
