The Indiana Pacers look for payback in Game 2 on Tuesday night against the Atlanta Hawks.
Head to head, the Hawks are 3-1-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings while the road team is 3-0-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings and the favorite is 25-10-1 ATS in the last 36 meetings. The Pacers are 2-10 ATS in their last 12 home games, 0-7 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 15-35-1 ATS in their last 51 games overall. The Hawks on the other hand are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games, 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

I'll be taking the Indiana Pacers in this one, but you could make a very compelling for the Atlanta Hawks. For one, the Hawks have now been victorious in seven of their last nine overall following their 101-93 win over the Pacers in Game 1 on Saturday night. That victory was also their second in Indiana in the past two weeks as they defeated the Pacers 107-88 back on the 6th. Another interesting stat is that Pero Antic has now played Indi three times this season and is a perfect 3-0, with those three wins coming by an average of 12.3 points per contest.
So why am I picking the Indiana Pacers? For one simple reason, this is a must win game. Time after time, whenever we see the home team go down in Game 1, they bounce back with a good performance in Game 2 ,which makes sense because everything is on the line. While the Pacers could still win the series trailing 0-2, it would likely be in a seven-game slog, which is not what you want in round 1 considering the Miami Heat will take care of the Charlotte Bobcats in four or five games.
While I was originally thinking about taking the points tonight, I'm going to take my chances with the Pacers. They have looked average for a while now, but I have to think they put it all on the line in Game 2.
