The Los Angeles Clippers and the Golden State Warriors face off in a pivotal Game 5 tonight.
After dominating the Warriors for most of Game 3 before escaping with the 98-96 win, the Clippers failed to bring that momentum with them into Game 4 and got absolutely blown off the floor in a 118-97 trouncing. Jamal Crawford returned to form with 26 points while Blake Griffin added 21, but the Clippers started the game poorly and found themselves down by 66-48 at halftime and never threatened to come back. All credit goes to the Warriors for the win, but there's no doubt that the Clippers were distracted in this game given all the news about their owner's racist comments that have become the biggest headline in sports.

As for the Warriors, Stephen Curry stepped it up in Game 4 and showed everyone why he's the best shooter in the league, pouring in 33 points with seven three pointers to go with his seven rebounds and seven assists. The Warriors had four other players finish in double figures but the biggest positive from the other scorers was the play of Andre Iguodala who scored 22 points and nine assists. Overall, Golden State played fantastic in what was pretty much a must-win, so they definitely have the momentum heading into Game 5 tonight back at Staples Center.
In ATS trends, the Warriors are 14-2 ATS in their last 16 Conference Quarterfinals games and 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, while the Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last four games following a loss of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Los Angeles and the Home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.
Given the distractions that the Clippers have had to face and the big loss they're coming off, you would expect the Warriors to be the favorites in this one. However, I think the Clippers will be able to turn this series back in their favor with a big win tonight.
