The Golden State Warriors will be playing for their playoff lives against the Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
After getting blown out by the Warriors in Game 4, the Clippers have managed to turn the series back in their favor with a hard-fought 113-103 win in Game 5. DeAndre Jordan had a massive game of 25 points and 18 rebounds, while Chris Paul added 20 points of his own, but the Clippers won this game because they dominated the bench scoring and made crucial free throws down the stretch. Firstly, they had Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison combining for 34 points off the bench to make up for a quiet night from Blake Griffin who scored just 18 points while battling foul trouble. Also, with a narrow lead in the fourth quarter, the Warriors made basket after basket to stay in the game, but the Clippers closed the game by making their last 11 free-throws to seal the win.

As for the Warriors, Klay Thompson led the way with 21 points while David Lee and Andre Iguodala added 18 points apeice, but as balanced as the scoring was, you can't help but feel that the Warriors were off their game offensively. In the end, the team shot a respectable 47.1 percent from the field while making 10 of 28 three-pointers, but I don't think the Warriors are good enough to beat the Clippers with Stephen Curry taking just 10 shots. With that being said, you have to give some credit to the Clippers who trapped him and forced him into eight turnovers, but the bottom line is that coach Jackson has to find a way to get him twice as many shots in Game 6.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record and 1-5 ATS in their last six games following a win, while the Warriors are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six home games.
Head to head, the Clippers are 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Golden State and the Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.
The Clippers look to have shrugged off the distractions that ruined their preparations in Game 4, but these Warriors aren't going anywhere. This series looks to be building towards a dramatic Game 7 so I'm taking Curry and that fantastic home crowd to win this game and extend this series.
