The San Antonio Spurs look to make it 2-0 tonight against the Miami Heat in Game 2.
With all the talk going on about how the broken air-conditioning led to LeBron James cramping up, you would be forgiven if you thought that it caused the Heat to lose the game, because they simply fell to pieces once their leader left the court. We should actually be taking notice of how much LeBron does for his team on both ends of the floor because the Spurs absolutely owned the last 7:30 of the game.

Tim Duncan led the way with 21 points on nine of 10 shooting, while Tony Parker added 19 points and eight assists. Manu Ginobili was fantastic off the bench, scoring 16 points and 11 assists, but the icing on the cake was Danny Green who sparked a game-clinching 16-3 run with his consecutive threes.
As for the Heat, James finished with 25 points before cramping up while Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh added 19 and 18 points respectively, but while the Heat were bad on offense without James, they were even worse on defense. The turnovers they were forcing in the first half didn't happen in the fourth quarter and then they couldn't get a body on Green who exploded late.
The bottom line is that the Spurs will be absolutely delighted with the win in Game 1, but when you really look at it, the game was absolutely neck and neck until LeBron left so the Heat won't be too disheartened. I personally think the Spurs will carry their momentum into Game 2 and grab the win, but only by single digits this time.
