The NBA hasn’t officially been in off-season mode for long, and it feels like the action hasn’t even stopped. We’ll be getting another dose of intrigue with tonight’s draft, so there will be plenty to talk about in the lead-up to the free agency period. With that in mind, let’s take our daily look around the league and see what everyone’s up to.

Smith Trade Brewing?: Yesterday, we got some very interesting reports out of Detroit concerning Josh Smith, who is coming off a pretty dismal year in Motown. The Pistons have reportedly been talking with the Kings about a potential deal for Smith, apparently in exchange for both Jason Thompson and Derrick Williams in one scenario.
Both Jason Terry and Carl Landry have been named as potential pieces in the trade as well, so this thing could involve several different names.
Sacramento needs defense, and adding Smith will obviously help that, which is likely the main reason the Kings are kicking the tires on this trade. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but this one looks pretty realistic.

Big Moves Yesterday: There were a couple of notable transactions that were agreed to yesterday, so let’s check out a brief overview of each.
Tyson Chandler will be going back to his former team the Mavericks after the Knicks sent him and Raymond Felton to Dallas in exchange for Jose Calderon, Wayne Ellington, Shane Larkin and Samuel Dalembert.
Elsewhere, the Rockets cleared out some cap space by sending Omer Asik to the Pelicans in exchange for a first-rounder in 2015. Houston will also send some cash to New Orleans.

Top 10 Mock Draft: With the NBA Draft on its way tonight, we’ve all got one last chance to take our best guesses at which players will go at the top of the board. Joel Embiid’s foot injury has thrown most speculations into a free-fall, so there’s really no telling what will happen this evening. That said, let’s take one last look at the consensus top 10 from most of the experts out there.

1. Andrew Wiggins, Cleveland Cavaliers
2. Jabari Parker, Milwaukee Bucks
3. Dante Exum, Philadelphia 76ers
4. Noah Vonleh, Orlando Magic
5. Joel Embiid, Utah Jazz
6. Marcus Smart, Boston Celtics
7. Julius Randle, Los Angeles Lakers
8. Aaron Gordon, Sacramento Kings
9. Doug McDermott, Charlotte Hornets
10. Nik Stauskas, Philadelphia 76ers
