The Philadelphia 76ers welcomes the Charlotte Hornets to town in preseason action on Wednesday night.
Simply put, the Philadelphia 76ers are going to be one of the worst teams of all time when the regular season is done and dusted. Considering they only won 19 games all of last season, and that was with Thad Young plus Evan Turner and Spencer Hawes for a good chunk of the season, I’m struggling to see how they get double-digit wins for the year, I really am. Just take a look at the team they put out in their preseason opener against the Boston Celtics on Monday night, a game in which they scored just 78 total points (30 in the second half) and ended up losing by 20. That is one of the worst rosters I have seen in a long, long time. Everybody understands what they are doing, but they are taking it to extreme lengths trying to be bad. I would hate to be a 76ers fan for the next couple of years.

The time is here Charlotte Hornets fans (me included). No more will we be referred to as the Bobcats, a name synonymous with losing. Everything about the change back to the original Hornets name is awesome, the new court, new jerseys, everything. It also helps that Charlotte has the most talent on their roster since their inception back into the league in 2003. I may be a little bias, but I think this new look squad is going to be really dangerous this season. With Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson leading the way, Lance Stephenson and MGK (who’s jumper is looking much improved I must say) locking people down on the wings, along with a solid second unit and an up-and-coming head coach in Steve Clifford, things have never looked better in the Queen’s City.
After the stink bomb the 76ers put up the other night, there's no way I'm taking them here. Instead, the under look like the way to go because I think both teams will struggle to score tonight...
