The San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings face off on Monday at the AT&T Center in NBA Preseason action.
The San Antonio Spurs are going through the motions so far during preseason going 1-3 and losing their last two games. We last saw the Spurs on Saturday as they were getting beat by the Heat in a game Tony Parker didn’t play in. Kyle Anderson had 17 points and seven rebound sin 32 minutes and Mario Belinelli had 18 points off of the bench. Tim Duncan scored 11 points in 21 minutes and he grabbed six rebounds Cory Joseph had 14 points, and JaMychal Green had 11 points. The Spurs are aging but they also have a nice group of young players and we are seeing them get plenty of minutes during the preseason.

The Sacramento Kings are 2-3 this preseason and they play Maccabi Haifa on Saturday and like most of the other exhibitions of this nature they won easily in a one sided game that we didn’t get to see or learn much. DeMarcus cousins is easily the Kings best player and he had 15 points and 12 rebounds in 26 minutes to lead all scorers. Darren Collison had 12 points as did Derrick Williams. Ramon Sessions ad 11 points and Nik Stauskas had 10 as the Kings are hoping he will be a contributor. Rudy Gay did not play in the last game.
San Antonio is 4-0 against the spread on one days rest and 9-1 against the spread in their last 10 home games. Sacramento is 3-0-1 against the spread in their last four Monday games and he under is 6-1 when they have three or more days of rest. Sacramento has covered the point spread in four of their last five games in San Antonio.
The Spurs just don't look to be into the preseason so I am going with the road dog and the points.
