There has been a lot of excitement about the Cleveland Cavaliers this season and of the preseason is any indication at all they don’t look like they are going to disappoint. The Cav’s pummeled the Bulls on Monday with all of the starters putting up big numbers. Kyrie Irving had 28 points and seven assists and Anderson Varejo had 22 points and eight rebounds to lead the Cavaliers. LeBron James had 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists and Kevin Love had 9 points and 13 rebounds. The Cavaliers shot a blistering 48.8 percent from the floor and 80.8 percent from the line for the win. While the preseason doesn’t show everything, Cleveland has to be happy with what they are seeing.
Memphis is 1-7 against the spread in Wednesday games and the over is 4-0 in their games following a loss. The over has hit in Cleveland last four road games and in their last four games following a win. Cleveland has covered the spread in 11 of their last 14 meetings with Memphis and six of their last eight in Memphis.
The Cav seem to be ready to go and if they play their starters as much as they did last time out they shouldn't have much of a problem here.
