The Chicago Bulls will be looking to rebound tonight when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Derrick Rose led the Chicago Bulls with 20 points, but his first home debut this season was ruined when he sprained his left ankle after just 25 minutes of play and didn't return. In a tightly contested game, Kirk Hinrich took the reins and scored an efficient 20 points, including eight in the final 1:42 of the fourth quarter, but it still wasn't enough as the Big Three of Cleveland overcame a late deficit and forced overtime. Chicago would go on to lose 114-108 but despite the loss, their only concerns will be on the health of Rose.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves were able to win their first home game of the season by beating the Pistons 97-91 on Thursday. Nikola Pekovic had 17 points, while Ricky Rubio flirted with a triple-double, but it was the newly acquired Thaddeus Young who led the scoring with 19 points. Andrew Wiggins had just eight points and seems to be working his way in slowly after scoring just six points on opening night.
In ATS trends, the Bulls are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games playing on no days rest and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall, while the Timberwolves are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team above .600 and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record. Head to head, the Bulls are a dominant 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings in Minnesota.
Rose's ankle sprain is said to be just minor as he's already walking around without a limp but check his status before tipoff just to make sure. Having said that, I'd be taking the Bulls to continue their dominance over the Wolves either way.
