The Philadelphia 76ers are still looking for their first win this season as the Sixers host the Orlando Magic.
The Philadelphia 76ers are 0-4 to start their season, and while everyone basically knew the Sixers were playing for a lottery spot at the open, going 0-5 is not ideal. The Sixers, however, to be fair have had a brutal schedule to open things up, having to face the Rockets, the Pacers and the Heat, all within their first four games. In Philly’s last outing, the Sixers fell to the Rockets, 104-93 on Monday night. Philly was able to hang with the Rockets for the first three quarters, making things kind of interesting late, but the sheer talent edge for the Rockets took over in the fourth quarter as the Rockets pulled away for the relatively easy win.

The Orlando Magic, like the Sixers, are still looking for their first win of the season. The Magic have had a tough slate so far, but nothing like Philly’s road to winlessville. In Orlando’s last outing, the Magic fell to the Chicago Bulls 98-90 on Tuesday night. Also like the Sixers, things were tight heading into the fourth quarter, but the Bulls pulled away, earning the eight point win. This looks to be another tough spot for the Magic, as Orlando now has back to back games, with the second coming off a tough loss on the road to a very good Chicago team, which has to be a letdown. It will be interesting to see here if the Magic can stay focused, for what should be a winnable game for them.
The under is 7-1 in their last eight between the Magic and the Sixers in Philly.
Personally, there is no way I will be playing this game. I just can’t trust either team right now, and I can see arguments on both sides here. Gun to my head, I’ll take the Sixers, getting points at home, but I sure don’t love it.
