The Memphis Grizzlies and Milwaukee Bucks play Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
With a two-point win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, the Memphis Grizzlies remain just the third team to be undefeated. The Grizzlies are exactly what we thought they were going to be, allowing just 86.2 points per game on 41.3 percent shooting. It isn’t always pretty basketball, but the Memphis Grizzlies have won 13 straight regular season games when allowing less than 100 points. Offensively, Mike Conley has 44 points and 16 assists in his last two games and Courtney Lee is 14-22 from the field in his last two contests. The Grizzlies are shooting 44.8 percent from the field, which is obviously just good enough to get by with their elite level defense. The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the few NBA teams that has an identity and play to their strengths each night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have lost three of their last four games, which includes a three-point heartbreaker Friday to the Detroit Pistons. One of the positives that the Bucks can take from this stretch is that Jabari Parker is starting to come along, as he’s 12-26 from the field with 11 rebounds in his last two games. Brandon Knight has a combined 50 points in his last three games and O.J. Mayo has scored in the single digits and has seven turnovers in his last four games. The Bucks will need a lot more offensive production from their veteran guard if they hope to have success this season. The Bucks have lost 10 of their last 12 games when scoring under 100 points. Defensively, the Milwaukee Bucks are allowing 94.6 points on 43.3 percent shooting from the field.
The Grizzlies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 0 days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Bucks are 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games playing on 0 days rest and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. Western Conference. The Grizzlies are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings in Milwaukee, while the underdog is 11-3 ATS in the last 14 meetings.
I really don't like laying chalk with the Memphis Grizzlies because they struggle to put the ball in the hoop. Even a banged up OKC team had a chance to win Friday due to the Grizz going long stretches without scoring. I don't love this pick, but give me the Bucks and as many points as possible.
