The Boston Celtics will be hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
The Boston Celtics are sitting right at the .500 mark this season, having a record of 3-3 on the year. Boston has one of the more prolific offenses in the game, putting up an average of 106.3 points per outing, and in their last outing the Celtics put up 106 in a win against the Bulls on Saturday, defeating Chicago 106-101. Boston has now won back to back outings, with wins against the Bulls and the Pacers. Jeff Green is leading the Celtics offense with a solid average of 19.7 points per game, but Boston likes to spread the wealth as the Celtics are first in the league in assists per game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are just trying to keep their heads above water until they get healthy, but it’s not going so well as the Thunder are just 2-6 on the season and currently trail Portland by three games in the Northwest division. Obviously the season is a long one, but you don’t want to fall too far behind a solid Portland team. The Thunder are just 1-4 in their last five games, with a win against the Kings on Sunday as the lone victory in that stretch. With their stars out right now, the Thunder are led offensively by Reggie Jackson, who is scoring an average of 21.8 per game.
Tough call here, and I personally won’t be on this one, but I’m going to take the points with the Thunder. OKC is still playing well defensively, and even though the Celtics have a powerful offense, I don’t know really trust this Celtic D. Should be a close game, and getting two possessions with the Thunder looks like the right side.
